2022 NFL Defensive Player Of The Year Announced

The 2022 NFL Defensive Player of the Year race was meant to be one of the hottest contested awards at the NFL Honours night, but surprisingly, the winner, San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa won in a landslide, taking 46 of a possible 50 votes.

On the year, Bosa ended up with 51 tackles, 18.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 pass defended, and while the Niners fell agonizingly short of the Super Bowl, it's safe to say that Bosa was the most dominant and impactful player on the defensive side of the ball this year.
