Arizona Cardinals Release Veteran Defensive Coordinator

The Arizona Cardinals were very patient in their Head Coach search, and it seemingly paid off this week when they announced former Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jonathan Gannon as the man to lead this franchise going forward, and now, it appears he's ready to install his own staff.

That begins today, as the team have requested several interviews for their vacant Offensive Coordinator role, while now the organization have officially come to terms with the release of their Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph.

In recent days, Joseph has been linked to the DC roles in both Denver and Philadelphia, and now he's free to take those interviews, and given his success as a defensive coach in the NFL, there's no doubting he'll find a solid role somewhere.
