Carolina Panthers Hire New Wide Receivers Coach

The Carolina Panthers began the 2023 off-season needing to fill several crucial roles on the coaching staff, and now, just weeks later, they continue to add to an already stacked staff that makes this organization a very attractive destination for free agents all of a sudden.

Today, they just added another fantastic veteran to the staff, as they've hired Shawn Jefferson to be their next wide receivers coach, which will mark the sixth team he's had the role on, with all of them getting a boost for his presence.

The Panthers have agreed to terms with Shawn Jefferson to be their wide receiver coach.

Jefferson has 30 years of NFL experience between his playing career and coaching tenure so far.

As a player, Jefferson racked up over 25 Touchdowns and over 7,000 yards receiving, and with plenty of potential in this group, with a chance to get even better, he's a fantastic fit to a staff that's quickly become one of the best in the NFL.
