Detroit Lions To Extend Defensive Coordinator

The Detroit Lions had a fantastic 2022 season on the back of a breakout performance from this offence, but towards the end of the year, the defence was every bit as good, and with Aidan Hutchinson, Jeff Okudah and others leading the way, they have a very bright future.

It appears the coaches are buying into this notion as well, as Ben Johnson turned down offers to stay with Detroit earlier this off-season, and now, the team are giving Defensive Coordinator Aaron Glenn an extension to keep him in the Motor City.

Despite interest from Arizona and Indianapolis for their then vacant Head Coach positions, Glenn is now set to stay in Detroit for multiple years, and if they can add to this young core on defence, they'll be tough to stop in 2023.
