Indianapolis Colts Request To Interview Jaguars Coach For OC Role
The Indianapolis Colts made the fantastic choice this past week to hire Shane Steichen as their new Head Coach, and while he's likely going to play a big role in their game plan and offensive play calling, the team still need a veteran offensive coach to lead the play as the Offensive Coordinator.
They'll no doubt be starting their search this week, and unsurprisingly, they put in a request with Jaguars passing game coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, who has drawn plenty of attention this off-season, but is yet to get a promotion with another team.
It's hard to imagine the Colts search not being as thorough as their one for Head Coach was, meaning we should see plenty of names getting one or two interviews, and if they make the right hire, this is a team that could be dangerous in 2023.The #Colts are requesting #Jaguars passing game coordinator Jim Bob Cooter for their OC job under Shane Steichen, source said.
