Jacksonville Jaguars Motivated To Bring Star Tight End Back Before Franchise Tag Deadline

Of all the surprise teams in the NFL in 2022, none were better in the second half of the year than the Jacksonville Jaguars, who saw a massive leap forward from young Quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and now look like a franchise that's set up to succeed for a long time to come.

With a great coaching staff in place, 2023 will be a great test for this team, but it looks like they've built up plenty of good will, as all of their free agents have expressed an interest in returning, with the biggest name of all being Evan Engram, who the Jaguars have a mutual interest in bringing back to the team in 2023.

Yesterday, it has now been reported that both sides are eager to get a deal done before the franchise tag deadline on March 7, meaning that if both sides want a deal to be in place, it's likely to occur before free agency officially begins.
