Las Vegas Raiders And Star Running Back Yet To Begin Extension Talks

The Las Vegas Raiders 2022 season may have been a complete disaster if not for the performance of superstar running back Josh Jacobs, but after failing to pick up his 5th year option, the team will now need to give him a long-term contract if they want to bring him back.

Jacobs has confirmed that he wants to be back with the team in 2023 and beyond, but told media at the Pro Bowl that discussions about an extension haven't yet begun, but he is hoping they will soon, as it's believed the Raiders want him back in a big way.

In 2022, Jacobs led the NFL in rushing yards with 1,653, as well as adding 400 yards receiving with 12 Touchdowns, and it's safe to say that if they can keep him and swing for the fences at QB, this could be a very dangerous team in 2023.
