Miami Dolphins Officially Hire Veteran Defensive Coach
The Miami Dolphins were reportedly the favourite to land veteran defensive coach Vic Fangio to be their new Defensive Coordinator, and it was announced by some reporters that the deal was done, but unfortunately, it came out that it wasn't true, as San Francisco and Carolina were still talking to the former Broncos Head Coach.
Now, it appears that the decision has finally be made, and the Dolphins will land their man that they hope can turn around this defence, and if that's the case, this should be a team that's considered a genuine AFC contender in 2023.
The 64-year old has been coaching in the NFL since 1986, and is one of the most respected names in the entire league, and with Miami looking to take the next step towards a Super Bowl, there's no better man to bring in alongside Mike McDaniel. After speaking with multiple teams about their defensive coordinator position, Vic Fangio has decided to join the Dolphins as their defensive coordinator and officially will accept the position on the Miami staff after the Super Bowl.
