Minnesota Vikings Make Contract Extension For Star Wide Receiver A Priority

The Minnesota Vikings were once again one of the best regular season teams in the NFL this past season, and while their success in the playoffs was nonexistent, there's still plenty of reason to be excited as a Vikings fan.

One of the main reasons for that optimism is superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who's off to a start that no one in NFL history has seen through three NFL seasons, and now, it appears Minnesota are making it a priority to keep him in the purple and gold for a long, long time to come.

Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah says Justin Jefferson extension is a “high priority”. Adds he doesn’t want to manage a team without that guy in the building.

Through three seasons, Jefferson is on a historic pace with 324 catches for 4,825 yards and 25 Touchdowns, and if they can put the pieces around him on this offence, this should be a dominant team for years and years to come.
