New Orleans Saints Sign Wide Receiver

Headed to New Orleans.

The New Orleans Saints have signed wide receiver Keith Kirkwood to a one-year contract.

Kirkwood spent the first two NFL seasons of his career with the New Orleans Saints before joining the Carolina Panthers.

He re-joined the Saints ahead of the 2022 season and bounced back and forth from between the active roster and practice squad during the first half of the season before securing a contract at the end of the season.

Kirkwood played in five games, including the last few games of the season, catching just two of four targets across 149 offensive snaps.

The twenty-nine-year-old has recorded 19 receptions for 257 yards and two touchdowns on 34 targets over 17 games throughout his four seasons in the NFL.

As long as Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas are healthy, Kirkwood likely won't be able to find a significant role in the Saints' offense.
