New York Giants Safety Calls Out Eagles Head Coach
Despite the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles knocked their NFC East rival New York Giants out of the playoffs in convincing fashion, the rivalry clearly hasn't gone away, as Giants safety Julian Love took the chance to throw some more trash talk the way of the Super Bowl bound Eagles.
Given the talk of Nick Sirianni as a potential Coach of the Year, Love took exception to that, saying he was just 'in it for a free ride' given the talent this Eagles team possesses, but it's easy to dismiss this, as plenty of teams in the NFL have talent, but without the right leader, that doesn't mean much.
With two talented teams, they'll no doubt be battling for years to come, but right now, Sirianni and this team are hitting all the right notes, so it's hard to see these comments as anything but bitterness from Julian Love.“He’s in for a free ride”
