New York Jets Hire New Wide Receivers Coach

The New York Jets took a massive step forward in 2022, and plenty of that success can be attributed to their rookie class, highlighted by wide receiver Garrett Wilson, but after the 2022 season concluded, wide receivers coach Miles Austin was fired, leaving a hole on this offensive staff.

Now that the team has hired two new coaches in Nathaniel Hackett as Offensive Coordinator and Todd Downing, the staff is beginning to take shape for a do-or-die year for Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh, and now, they've brought in a familiar face to Hackett, as Zach Azzanni is the teams new wide receivers coach.

The 46-year old has been in the NFL since 2017 as a wide receivers coach, and now he'll work with Wilson, Elijah Moore and likely another addition to the group, and if they can get the offence down, this is a potential playoff team in 2023.
