NFL Place Philadelphia Eagles Guard On Commissioners Exempt List

While the Philadelphia Eagles are currently planning for their second Super Bowl appearance in the past 5 years, the last thing they truly needed was an outside distraction, but today, that's exactly what they got, as guard Josh Sills was indicted on charges of rape and kidnapping in Ohio.

Due to this, the NFL have officially placed him on the commissioners exempt list, meaning that while he will still be paid while the matter is pending, he won't be able to participate in practice or games, and will not be able to travel with the team.

The indictment comes from an incident back in December of 2019, and now, we will just have to see the matter play out with the due legal process, but it appears he will not be taking part in the Super Bowl or any activity surrounding it.
