NFL Rumors: Cincinnati Bengals Tight End's Future With Team Uncertain

He's set to hit free agency this spring.

The Cincinnati Bengals signed Hayden Hurst to a one-year, $3.5 million last offseason.

It was a prove-it contract for Hurst and he proved it. Despite missing three games due to a calf injury, Hurst enjoyed a nice season, recording 52 receptions for 414 yards and two touchdowns on 68 targets over 13 games during the regular season.

The twenty-nine-year-old likely will be looking for more than a one-year deal as he heads back into free agency this offseason.

Regardless of where he signs, Hurst is definitely in line for a pay raise.

He is a former first-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2018 NFL Draft. He's spent two seasons with the Ravens, two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons and one with the Bengals.
