San Francisco 49ers May Look At The Veteran QB Market This Off-Season

The San Francisco 49ers had well documented Quarterback issues all throughout the 2022 season, with Trey Lance, Jimmy Garoppolo, Josh Johnson and Brock Purdy all suffering injuries at inconvenient times, so in 2023, they'll be hoping for much better luck.

While the 49ers have said that Lance and Purdy would likely be in a Quarterback battle to begin training camp, today, 49ers General Manager John Lynch said that they would potentially take a look at the veteran QB market too, as depth is their biggest priority at the position going forward.

With Baker Mayfield, Ryan Tannehill, Mike White and other names out there, there will certainly be plenty of candidates if the 49ers do go down this route, but if not, Lance and Purdy will no doubt be great behind this offensive line with all these fantastic weapons.
