Titans Star DT Confident He Can Work Out A New Contract This Off-Season

The Tennessee Titans finished their 2022 season in disappointing fashion, losing 7 of their last 8 games to lose the AFC South division crown to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but with a talented roster, they certainly have a chance to bounce back in 2023.

If they are to do that, then bringing back their defensive leader Jeffery Simmons contract extension should be a massive priority heading into the off-season, and when he was asked about this, Simmons expressed his confidence in the two sides coming together for a big deal.

2022 was once again another fantastic year for the former first round pick, as he racked up 7.5 sacks, 54 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 7 passes deflected, and if he can lead the defence once again and they can stay healthy, they'll be competing in the AFC South once again.
