Dallas Cowboys Franchise Tag Young Running Back

The Dallas Cowboys were once again one of the best teams in the NFL during the 2022 regular season, and while they couldn't quite get it done in the playoffs, this is a team that is ready to take the next step with their blend of youth and experience.

One of the biggest positives for Cowboys fans was the emergence of Tony Pollard as their potential No. 1 running back for the future, and while the teams weren't able to come to a long-term agreement, they have now officially franchise tagged him, meaning he will be back with the team in 2023.

What this means for Ezekiel Elliott is uncertain at this point, but after putting up 1,007 yards rushing for 9 Touchdowns and 371 receiving yards for 3 Touchdowns, it's safe to say that the Cowboys look like they've found their starter for the future.
