Dallas Cowboys Leave Door Open For Reunion With Star Running Back

The Dallas Cowboys have seemingly been one of the best regular season teams in the NFL for a number of years now, but without playoff success, they've been left scratching their head and needing to retool the roster ahead of 2023.

The first big move they made this off-season was coming to the release of star running back Ezekiel Elliott, who has been with the Cowboys for his entire NFL career, but on Monday, Head Coach Mike McCarthy made it clear that the door is still open for a return.

In his seven seasons with Dallas, Elliott racked up over 10,500 all-purpose yards to go along with 80 Touchdowns, and while he's not a No. 1 back anymore, he can still be a very effective contributor, so a reunion in Dallas would make complete sense.
