Former Promising Vikings Receiver Meets With New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are reportedly scheduled to meet with wide receiver Bisi Johnson, who has been out of action since suffering a torn ACL during training camp in 2022.

This marks the second consecutive season that Johnson has missed due to the same injury, and he has not played a game since Week 17 of the 2020 season.
Despite his injury history, Johnson's talents as a wideout cannot be ignored. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL draft and showed promise in his rookie season, recording 31 receptions for 294 yards and three touchdowns.

However, his second season with the Vikings saw a decline in his stats, as he only managed 14 catches for 189 yards.

Johnson's injury setbacks have certainly hampered his progress and raise questions about his ability to stay healthy in the future. Nonetheless, he remains a promising prospect for any team looking for a talented wide receiver, and his impressive rookie season shows that he has the potential to make a significant impact on the field.

If the Patriots do sign Johnson, he will face stiff competition in training camp to secure a spot on the 53-man roster.

However, given his potential, it will be interesting to see how he fares in a new environment and whether he can regain the form that made him a promising prospect in his rookie year.
