Houston Texans Sign Former 49ers Defensive Tackle

The Houston Texans have been one of, if not the worst teams in the entire NFL the past few seasons, but with a new Head Coach and some high draft picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, all of a sudden it feels like there's a major culture shift down south.

After a few key moves in recent days, the Texans have now officially signed veteran defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million, after he spent his 2022 campaign with the San Francisco 49ers.

Statistically, Ridgeway didn't shine in 2022, but he was a key member of the leagues best defence in San Francisco, and if he can be the veteran leader for a young defence in Houston, this will be an absolute steal of a contract.
