Kansas City Chiefs Sign Former 49ers Pass-Rusher

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed defensive end Charles Omenihu to a two-year contract with a maximum value of $20 million.

Omenihu previously played for the San Francisco 49ers and had a career-high 4.5 sacks last season as a situational pass rusher for the team with the best defense in the league.

Omenihu's versatility and ability to provide depth on the defensive line will be valuable for the Chiefs, especially after the release of Frank Clark. At 25 years old, Omenihu has shown potential as a pass rusher and could make a significant impact if he sees more playing time with his new team.

This move by the Chiefs appears to be a strategic one as they look to bolster their defense and build upon their recent Super Bowl win.

With Omenihu now in the mix, the Chiefs' pass-rushing rotation could become even more formidable, putting them right in the mix for the Super Bowl again in the upcoming season.
