Las Vegas Raiders Meet With Veteran Quarterback

The Las Vegas Raiders have made some curious moves this off-season, but now they have settled with veteran QB Jimmy Garoppolo as their starter going forward, and after losing Jarrett Stidham in free agency, they need to find him an adequate backup.

It appears that they've now found their ideal target, as the Raiders recently hosted former San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars Quarterback Blaine Gabbert on a visit.

A first-round pick back in 2011, Gabbert has had a solid career as a backup in the NFL, and while he never quite lived up to the hype of a first-round pick, he is one of the best backups in the league, and given how injury prone Garoppolo has been throughout his career, he makes perfect sense for the role in Las Vegas.
