Las Vegas Raiders Release Veteran Special Teamer

The Las Vegas Raiders enter 2022 prepared to play in one of the toughest divisions in the entire NFL, and after making some already questionable moves this off-season, there's no doubt that they've got plenty of work to do if they want to contend for a playoff spot.

On Sunday, they made another strange move official, as the team announced the release of veteran long snapper Trent Sieg, and while it may not seem like a massive move, he's been a key piece for this special teams group for a number of years now.

The 27-year old has been with the Raiders since 2018, learning from some of the games best kickers, but with plenty to give, there's no doubt that he will find his way onto a new roster very soon.
