Miami Dolphins Re-Sign Running Back

The Miami Dolphins have re-signed running back Raheem Mostert to a two-year contract worth up to $7.6 million, according to his agent.

Mostert had a strong first season with the Dolphins, rushing for a career-high 891 yards on 181 carries and adding three touchdowns.

He also recorded 31 receptions for 202 yards and two more scores through the air. Mostert's loyalty to head coach Mike McDaniel, who he worked with for five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, paid off with his impressive performance.

The Dolphins may still bring in another back to split touches with Mostert, but for now, they have a reliable and productive running back on a team-friendly deal.

Over his eight-year career, the 30-year-old has rushed 465 times for 2,501 yards (5.4 avg), and 14 touchdowns across 65 games.

He's spent time with the Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears, and the San Francisco 49ers.
