Miami Dolphins Sign Former Titans Linebacker

The Miami Dolphins have been active in free agency, and their latest signing is former Tennessee Titans linebacker David Long.

Long, a sixth-round pick in the 2019 draft, is expected to sign a two-year deal worth $11 million.

While he has missed time due to injuries over the past two seasons, Long has been a reliable player in the Titans' run defense and has recorded 230 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, four interceptions, 14 passes defended, and two forced fumbles in his 50 career games.

He is still searching for his first career sack, but he is expected to fill a starting role with the Dolphins in the upcoming season.

At 26 years old, Long has shown promise, and the Dolphins' front office is likely hoping he can help improve their defense in a bid to take advantage of a weakened AFC East.

This past season, he recorded 86 total tackles, two interceptions and five passes defended across 12 games with the Titans.
