New England Patriots Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Candidates

Welcome to Football Rumors' Offseason Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be discussing three players from each team who could be moved during the offseason.

In this latest episode, we will be looking at the New England Patriots.

Mac Jones: There have been rumblings that the Patriots want to improve at the QB position. As a result, Mac Jones could be a player that we see moved before the start of the season. However, for this to occur, the Patriots would need to land a notable QB. They have been deemed a dark horse team for Lamar Jackson.

Kendrick Bourne: Since last season, Kendrick Bourne has been in the rumor mill, but he remains a Patriot at the time of this writing. However, with the Patriots reportedly looking to add more receives this offseason, perhaps it could open the door to a Bourne trade coming to fruition.

Bailey Zappe: If the Patriots keep Jones, they might look to move Bailey Zappe. There was some conflict last season, as Devin McCourty told reporters that some Patriots wanted Zappe to start over Jones and vise versa. Therefore, to avoid this conflict from happening again, Zappe could be dealt.
