New York Jets Sign Veteran Punter

The New York Jets 2022 was certainly a step in the right direction, and with the massive move of trading for Aaron Rodgers this off-season on the way, it appears that they are going all in for 2023, and on Friday, they copied a move from last off-season that worked very well.

Ahead of the 2022 campaign, the Jets signed veteran kicker Greg Zuerlein to compete with young Eddy Piniero, and that ended up working out well, so on Friday, they officially signed veteran punter Thomas Morstead to compete with the young Braden Mann.

It looks like Mann is on the way out after some game changing punts for the worst in 2022, and in Morstead, the Jets are getting one of the best punters of all-time as they aim to finally change the perception of their franchise around the league.
