NFL Rumors: Saints Wide Receiver Set To Become Free Agent

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway is set to become a free agent after the team decided not to tender him.

Callaway had generated a lot of buzz heading into the 2022 season, but he failed to live up to expectations and struggled to produce for the Saints.

He finished the year with just 11 receptions, 158 yards, and one touchdown in 14 games, a significant decline from his promising sophomore campaign in 2021.

Despite his underwhelming performance, Callaway's potential and his young age may still attract interest from other teams, and he could become an interesting reclamation project.

However, it remains to be seen where he will end up, and a return to New Orleans is still a possibility if he can't find a better deal elsewhere.
