NFL Rumors: Young Running Back Done With The Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have struggled as a team for the past few seasons, but they have excelled in the run game, especially with Justin Fields at Quarterback, but leading the way in the backfield for them has been David Montgomery.

He has been a crucial part of the Bears offence since he was drafted in the third round back in 2019, but now after four seasons in Chicago, it looks like he is officially done with the team, and will hit free agency with the goal of finding a new team.

Over those four seasons, Montgomery has racked up 3,609 yards on the ground with 26 Touchdowns to go along with 1,240 receiving yards and 4 Touchdowns, and at 25-years of age, he's still got plenty left in the tank, meaning he will have a solid market next week when free agency begins.
