Pittsburgh Steelers Sign Former Chargers Defensive Tackle

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to add to their defense.

Breiden Fehoko, a former Los Angeles Chargers defensive tackle who went undrafted in 2020, has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2023 season.

As reported by Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Fehoko will be competing with Montravius Adams for a starting defensive tackle position during the offseason.

Fehoko played 10 games for the Chargers last season and recorded 26 tackles, but only started in four games over the course of his three-year tenure with the team.

He will now have to work hard to secure a spot on the Steelers' 53-man roster as a depth player on the defensive line. Nevertheless, Fehoko has potential and could be a valuable addition to the Steelers' team if he manages to impress the coaches during the upcoming season.

For his career, the 26-year-old has recorded 36 total tackles across 17 games played.
