San Francisco 49ers Kicker Will Play Elsewhere In 2023

The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the NFL's best teams for a number of seasons now, but unfortunately, they haven't been able to get over the hump to Championship glory, and this off-season, they'll have plenty of moves to make.

One more move they'll now have to make is finding a new kicker, as it has been officially confirmed that veteran Robbie Gould will kick elsewhere in 2023, and will be searching for a new team when free agency officially begins.

Veteran kicker Robbie Gould said today that, as much as he enjoyed his last six seasons in San Francisco, he will test free agency later this month and be kicking elsewhere in 2023.

In 18 seasons at the NFL level, Gould has converted 447 of his 517 attempts, making him one of the most successful kickers in history, and after six seasons in San Francisco, the 40-year old will continue his career elsewhere.
