Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sign Young Kicker

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have undergone an incredible amount of changes this off-season with the departure of Tom Brady, and to get under the salary cap, they need to release a number of veterans, leaving this roster in a state where they don't know whether to rebuild or retool.

One name that was surprisingly released was veteran kicker Ryan Succop, leaving a glaring hole for Tampa Bay, but on Tuesday, they officially came to terms with 26-year old Chase McLaughlin, who was last kicking with the Indianapolis Colts.

In 32 games played at the NFL level, McLaughlin has converted on 67 of 85 attempts as well as being 88 of 90 on extra points, but after an impressive 2022 campaign, it appears that he's ready to take on a full time starting role.
