Arizona Cardinals Sign Free Agent Quarterback & Offensive Tackle

The Arizona Cardinals have been making moves to strengthen their team for the 2023 NFL season.

One of their recent signings is quarterback Jeff Driskel, who previously played for the Houston Texans and has signed a one-year contract.

Driskel may compete with David Blough for the starting position until Kyler Murray or Colt McCoy are healthy.

Driskel has appeared in 22 games in his NFL career, throwing for 2,228 yards, a 59.2 completion percentage, with 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

In addition to Driskel, the Cardinals have also signed offensive tackle Jackson Barton to a one-year deal. Barton played for the Las Vegas Raiders in the past two seasons and has only appeared in eight games during his time in the NFL.

However, he has shown versatility in playing both left and right tackle positions and is expected to provide solid depth to the Cardinals' offensive line.
