BREAKING: Pittsburgh Steelers Acquiring Wide Receiver From Rams

The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly in talks to acquire wide receiver Allen Robinson from the Los Angeles Rams pending the results of his physical.

The news, which was reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, has created a buzz among Steelers fans as they anticipate the potential addition of another skilled player to their offense.

Robinson, a former Pro Bowl wide receiver and Penn State graduate, has had an impressive career with two 100-catch seasons and a career-high in yards and touchdowns during his Pro Bowl year in 2015.

The Rams granted Robinson permission to seek a physical with the Steelers, and if he passes, the trade is expected to be finalized.

The move comes after Robinson's disappointing performance in the 2022 season with the Rams, and his high salary cap hit became a concern for the team. Thus, the Rams allowed Robinson to explore trade options and find a new home.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but it will be interesting to see how Robinson fits into the Steelers' offensive scheme and what kind of impact he can make for the team.

With Robinson's proven track record and veteran experience, he could be a valuable asset to the Steelers' young quarterback, Kenny Pickett.

If the trade goes through, Robinson could help provide much-needed depth and experience at the wide receiver position, easing the transition for the Steelers' offense.

Over his nine-year career, the 29-year-old has amassed 528 receptions for 6,748 yards and 43 touchdowns on 903 targets across 110 games played. Photo Credit: Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports
