NFL Rumors: Minnesota Vikings Linked To San Francisco 49ers QB

The San Francisco 49ers were confident that when they traded up to land Trey Lance in the 2021 NFL Draft, they had found their Quarterback of the future, but after inconsistent play and injuries, it appears he may be on the outside looking in at the starting position in 2023.

Now, it has been revealed that the 49ers have been fielding trade calls on their young QB, as Brock Purdy appears to be the starter going forward, and now, the Minnesota Vikings have officially been linked to Lance, with trade talks occurring at the scouting combine.

At this point, it's hard to say what Lance's value could be, but with Kirk Cousins time in Minnesota potentially coming to an end, this is a move that would make sense if San Francisco believe in Brock Purdy as their future.
