NFL Rumors: New York Jets And Green Bay Packers Involved In Trade Discussions Once More

The New York Jets and Green Bay Packers have been connected all season long, with four-time MVP Quarterback Aaron Rodgers likely to be on the move, but after conversations soured, it was reported that the two sides haven't had contact for a number of weeks.

With the NFL Draft coming up later this week, it has now been reported by NFL Insider Ian Rapoport that the two sides have now begun engaging in trade talks once more, and while there will need to be plenty of compromise to make a deal work, it looks like things may be progressing well.

After a dormant couple weeks, the #Jets and #Packers recently re-engaged on trade talks surrounding star QB Aaron Rodgers, sources say. A deal is not imminent, but the two sides are at least talking — with hopes a deal can (finally) be done this week.

While nothing is guaranteed, this is a step in the right directions for a deal which would benefit both franchises, and with the draft coming up, it makes complete sense if a move is done by then so that both teams can move on with their off-season.
