Philadelphia Eagles Sign Former Falcons Wide Receiver

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Olamide Zaccheaus, a former wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons.

The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

During his four seasons with the Falcons, Zaccheaus amassed 94 receptions for 1,328 yards and eight touchdowns on 151 targets across 55 games.

In the 2022 season, the 25-year-old set career-highs all across the board, hauling in 40 catches on 61 targets, and 533 receiving yards, while also tying his career-high with three touchdown receptions in 17 games, 13 of which he started.

Zaccheaus is expected to compete for snaps out of the slot with Quez Watkins and Greg Ward, as he joins the Eagles' potent offense.

Despite not receiving much attention, he has the potential for greater success with his new team. It will be interesting to see how he performs and contributes to the Eagles in the upcoming 2023 season.

Overall, it's a very nice depth signing for the Eagles as Zaccheaus brings nice versatility to their offense with his ability to also contribute on special teams. Photo Credit: Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports
