Former Buffalo Bills Punter Officially Cleared In Court Case

Last season, the Buffalo Bills signed 'Punt God' Matt Araiza out of college, expecting him to take over as the teams punter for hopefully the next decade, but afterwards, a story emerged that he was involved in a major sexual assault case, with accusations levied directly at him, causing the Bills to move on from him before a snap had been taken.

Less than 12 months later, evidence has been brought to light that Araiza not only didn't have anything to do with the incident, but wasn't even present, despite being named by the accuser, and is now likely free to once again play in the NFL.

It's understandable that NFL teams didn't want anything to do with him at the time, but now that he's been proven guilty, given his reputation as a punter coming out of college, there's no doubt that there will be renewed interest in him going forward.
