Houston Texans Sign Edge Rusher After Trading Him Five Months Ago

The Houston Texans have recently made an acquisition, bringing back edge rusher Jake Martin to their team.

This signing brings a boost to the Texans' pass-rushing capabilities while also providing salary cap savings for the Denver Broncos, who previously released Martin.

Martin, a former player for the Denver Broncos, joins the Texans after a trade with the New York Jets last year. Although his time with the Broncos was cut short by a knee injury, Martin showcased his skills during his limited appearances, recording 14 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble.

The 27-year-old pass rusher, known for his potential as a situational player, enters the Texans' roster with a career tally of 16 sacks. His addition provides much-needed depth and experience to Houston's edge defenders.
