Houston Texans Sign Veteran Guard To Extension

The Houston Texans were once again one of the worst teams in the NFL last season, but with a new Head Coach in DeMeco Ryans, there's certainly already been a major culture shift down in Houston, and now it appears to be paying off.

After a huge 2023 NFL Draft, the Texans have now managed to lock down veteran guard Shaq Mason to a three-year, $36 million deal after acquiring him from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier in this off-season.

The 29-year old has been a part of two Super Bowl victories with the New England Patriots, and while these Texans teams aren't at that level, it's clear they're building something special, and Mason figures to be a key part of that.
