Houston Texans Sign Veteran Tight End

The Houston Texans are certainly a team on the rise, and with C.J. Stroud as their new Quarterback, there's no doubting that this team needs some veteran weapons around him, and on Wednesday, the team locked up yet another veteran target.

That would be tight end Eric Tomlinson, the six-year NFL veteran who has spent most of his time in the NFL as a backup with the New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots and most recently, the Denver Broncos.

Over that time, Tomlinson has hauled in just 27 catches for 280 yards and 3 Touchdowns, so he certainly won't be a top target for Stroud, but he will be a good veteran presence in the room and bring reliable run-blocking to the field when he's asked too.
