Jets Claim A Familiar Cornerback Off Waivers

The New York Jets have reportedly claimed cornerback Javelin Guidry off of the Falcons waivers, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The New York club will add Guidry to their 90-player roster before mandatory cuts later this summer. The 24-year-old cornerback was waived by his former Atlanta club on Monday.

Guidry will be entering his second stint with the Jets, who previously signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2020 out of Utah. He appeared in 26 games (with five starts) in 2020-21 for the New York Club, and posted 78 combined tackles.

The California native played just four games for the Las Vegas Raiders last season, and posted zero statistics.
