NFL Rumors: Two Teams Attempted To Trade For Star Running Back At The NFL Draft

The 2023 NFL Draft was a wild ride, as many shocks and surprised were laced throughout each and every round, and while not many trades for current players were struck like some expected, D'Andre Swift was the main name moved, as he was picked up by the defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

It has now been reported that both the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns contacted the Lions about a move for Swift, but ultimately, the package from Howie Roseman was the best offer Detroit got, and he ends up on a major contender in the NFC.

It comes as a surprise for Cleveland, as there are many cheap options out there to back up superstar Nick Chubb, while the Rams looking to add another offensive weapon would make sense, but either way, neither had the offer to land the promising young back from Detroit.
