Pittsburgh Steelers Rumors: Veteran Linebacker On Team's Radar

Kyle Van Noy is still looking for his new home, but things may change on that front shortly. There are rumblings that the Pittsburgh Steelers are very interested in signing the veteran linebacker.

Van Noy spent this past season with the Los Angeles Chargers, where he recorded 46 combined tackles to go along with 5.0 sacks. Overall, the nine-year veteran put together another solid season, and it ultimately makes sense that the Steelers want to sign him because of it. After all, the Steelers need help at the linebacker position, and Van Noy would provide them with just that.

We will now need to wait and see if the Steelers can end up signing Van Noy from here. However, it is certainly not guaranteed, as there are other teams around the league considering him as a free-agent addition as well.

In 128 career NFL games split between the Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, and Chargers, Van Noy has recorded 33.5 sacks, three interceptions, and 470 combined tackles. With that, he has two Super Bowls on his resume.
