Report: Arizona Cardinals Became Very Upset With Superstar WR During 2022 Season

 

The Arizona Cardinals shocked the NFL world early this week when they officially announced the release of former All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, with many believing that the team could have fetched a draft pick or two in return.

Now, after releasing him, the Cardinals have come out and voiced their displeasure about his time in Arizona, saying that many people within the organization were upset with him for sitting out games while healthy during their last season.

This makes no sense for the Cardinals, as it was clear that they were not going to be a contending team late in the year, so having one of their biggest weapons out allowed them to land the No. 3 overall pick, but after letting him go, their feelings hardly matter anymore.
