Washington Commanders Release Standout Center

The Washington Commanders have been a team on the rise for a number of years now in the crowded NFC East, but with question marks persisting at the Quarterback position, they've still got some work to do if they want to be considered an elite team.

Today's choice becomes an interesting one then, as the team have announced they released standout centre Chase Roullier, who was a sixth-round pick of the team way back in 2017, playing in 69 games, starting 63 of those since that point.

Roullier has some injury issues, but when he's on the field, he has been a top level starter, and with so many playoff teams looking for insurance along the offensive line, there's going to be plenty of attention on him in the coming days.
