Arizona Cardinals Sign Two Free Agent Cornerbacks

The Arizona Cardinals have taken steps to reinforce their secondary by signing cornerbacks Bobby Price and Dylan Mabin.

Bobby Price, an undrafted free agent, brings valuable experience and versatility to the team after spending his first three seasons with the Detroit Lions.

Despite primarily serving as a practice squad or depth player, Price made an impact by appearing in 15 games for the Lions in 2021, including two starts. His contributions on the field demonstrate his potential to contribute to the Cardinals' secondary.

Dylan Mabin, another undrafted free agent from the 2019 class, has also joined the Cardinals.

Mabin spent the previous season on the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad. His last regular-season appearance was in 2020, playing for both the Las Vegas Raiders and the Minnesota Vikings, where he recorded two tackles (one solo) in four games.

This signing provides Mabin with a fresh opportunity to compete for a coveted spot on the Cardinals' roster for the upcoming season.

These acquisitions come as the Cardinals' secondary, led by standout player Budda Baker, has been lacking significant playmakers.

The addition of Price and Mabin brings depth and competition to the position, enhancing the team's overall defensive capabilities. However, both players will need to make a strong impression during training camp to secure spots on the active roster for the upcoming season.

The Cardinals' coaching staff will be closely evaluating their performances, while Price and Mabin aim to contribute as reserve cornerbacks and make an impact on special teams throughout the summer. Photo Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports
