Report: New England Patriots Young Cornerback Arrested

 

The New England Patriots had a solid 2022 season, and despite struggles from their young starting Quarterback, they found a few solid players for the future of the team, with one being cornerback Jack Jones, with 2 interceptions and 1 electric return for a Touchdown in his rookie campaign, where he played in 13 games for the Patriots. 

Unfortunately, he couldn't get through his first full off-season without controversy, as he was arrested overnight due to having two firearms in his carry-on bag, with his bail set at $50K and he is due to be arraigned next week in East Boston District Court.

Ultimately, this may not be as bad as other off-field incidents that we've seen before from NFL players, but it's still a terrible look for a Patriots team that was relying on him going into next season to step up and make an impact, but now, his future with New England may be up in the air.
