New York Giants Meet With 4 Free Agent Players

The New York Giants have been busy evaluating a group of players during recent workouts, according to various reports.

Among those players are former XFL defensive tackle Kevin Atkins, linebackers Joe Giles-Harris and Kyahva Tezino, and running back Mark Thompson.

Atkins, who previously had a stint with the San Francisco 49ers, showcased his potential during his time with the St. Louis Battlehawks. Giles-Harris, known for his standout performances in the USFL, brings experience from his time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills.

Tezino, who played for the Pittsburgh Maulers in the USFL, drew interest from several NFL teams, including the Patriots, Panthers, and Steelers.

Thompson, the Offensive Player of the Year in the USFL, displayed his skills with the Houston Gamblers after multiple stints in the NFL.

While no official signings have been announced following the pre-camp workout, the Giants' interest in these players suggests they are keeping an eye on potential additions to their roster, particularly in positions where depth could be valuable. Photo Credit: Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports
