NFL Rumors: Carson Wentz Linked To Major AFC Contender

 

The NFL season is right around the corner, with pre-season wrapped up and just two weeks to wait until the year officially kicks off, but that doesn't slow down the rumour mill, as there's still potentially some big moves to be made between now and then.

One domino that has yet to fall is arguably the best Quarterback left on the free agent market in Carson Wentz, and while there's been reported interest from several teams, and now, perhaps the best team in the league have been linked to the former MVP caliber QB.

According to a recent report, the Kansas City Chiefs have a 'level of interest' in signing the former Eagles, Colts and Commanders QB, and with little insurance behind Patrick Mahomes and Wentz' reported interest in playing backup, this could be the perfect situation.
